Thank you for the excellent and very prompt service we received from you whilst purchasing two items of furniture through your online service. All the sales team were so helpful, and we expected a 6/8 week wait on the order but it arrived to our home in 7 days! The delivery men were also great. They helped unpack it and place it in the room for us. We live in Bristol so were unable to view the product before we ordered, but are thrilled with the quality and the look. My husband and I were looking for a versatile functional but pleasingly aesthetic wooden table for our new kitchen. The room was a kitchen and a living area combined, with three walls of patio doors leading onto a large caithness stone patio. The stunning views were the mainstay of the project, south facing over looking the Strathconon valley. The idea was to a have outside looking in, the colours of the kitchen blending with the natural colours of ever changing seasons.
The table was the most important part of the project. Where to eat, how we sat round the table, how to increase and decrease the size for larger family gatherings. Flexibility was the key.
With a fair amount of internet research, we kept coming back to the Team 7 range of tables and in particular the magnum walnut table with its two extending glass leaves. Wharfside kept being flagged up to!! We had to see it.
We organised flights from Inverness, and arrived one Sunday. The table was better than I imagined, the feel and grain of the wood and the colour of the glass glorious. The construction and mechanics of the table is of the highest class. The table is solid but elegant. Not intending to buy seats, we did in fact fall in love with the coordinating chairs and took 8.
Five years on, and I have to say it is the one piece of furniture in our house which is world class. We use the table everyday. When family come, the glass leaves are great for messy toddlers, the chairs sponge easily. The table had matured beautifully. In its current position it seats 6. In same position with one leaf out it sits 8.
For celebrations we move the table to the other part of the kitchen and fully extend it and it seats at least 12 people. This we have done on many occasion. It is very much admired, Thank you.
