Why do we love it so much?

At the very heart of Danish furniture there is an underlying (and perfect) set of themes: simplicity and functionality. This makes our hearts sing here at Wharfside as we believe that often simplicity is the hardest design feature to achieve well, so when we discover new pieces being made by our Danish furniture design contacts we just can't wait to showcase them to our clients.

We are proud to have been ahead of the 2016 trend for Hygge coming to the UK, bringing in Danish furniture into the UK back when we started 50 years ago, helping clients to embrace comfort, and clean lines, without losing out on high-end quality. Staying so long indoors thanks to our seasons, we love that these designs enable us to stay feeling warm during the winter, and fresh during summer thanks to it’s clean lines and minimalistic style.
