Whilst ambling around Venice, you might wonder what happens to the oak posts planted deep into the waterways to help gondoliers avoid mud banks. It turns out to be very sought after oak wood - not just because of its association with Venice, but because it weathers so beautifully that it takes on a unique and gorgeous quality. It is so sought-after that you can find it on very high-end yachts, very high-end sports cars, and now - thanks to TEAM 7 - on very wonderful furniture including this gorgeous dining room sideboard.
